Molly Pallavicini

MS, LPC

A native of the Shenandoah Valley, Molly is a licensed professional counselor, specializing in adult mental health counseling. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mary Baldwin College and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.

Molly specializes in working with patients with substance use disorders, working with women who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, anger and grief, and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help patients address common problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias and PTSD. She is also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) to diagnosis and treat insomnia and other sleep disorders.

Molly is passionate about providing a safe, non-judgmental space and her approach in therapy is a relational one that helps patients identify underlying patterns to help with becoming better functioning and have a greater sense of well-being.

She began working in 1995 with youth, adults and families in diverse environments. Working with the Community Services Boards and with public and private child welfare agencies, she provided foster care support services to children and their families.

Molly is an active member of the Virginia Counselors Association (VCA) and during her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors, running and hiking.
