Roger Clevinger

MD

Dr. Roger Clevinger, MD is a  primary care physician, providing care to patients ages 18 years and older.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from James Madison University, a Doctorate of Medicine from VCU/Medical College of Virginia, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at VCU/Medical College of Virginia. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Prior to joining RAHC, Dr. Clevinger provided both inpatient and outpatient internal medicine care in Tappahannock and Williamsburg, Virginia, for over 28 years. During that time, he also served in a forward support medical company as an Army flight surgeon with the Virginia National Guard.

Having grown up in Virginia’s far western Buchanan County in the Appalachian Mountains, Dr. Clevinger is acutely aware of the need for increased primary care in underserved communities and feels RAHC’s mission of providing greater access to healthcare to improve the health of the greater community fits squarely with what he wants to provide as a physician.

Being back in the mountains feels like home to Dr. Clevinger, and in his free time, he enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, and biking.
