Dr. Emily Lau has joined the Rockbridge Area Health Center as a family dentist. She earned a bachelor of science degree in biology and a bachelor of science degree in medical technology from George Mason University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry.
“When I was a child, I had many oral health issues and I am grateful for the extraordinary care that I received,” said Dr. Lau. “Because of my childhood dental care experiences, I have always wanted to be a dental professional and provide care to a wide range of patients, especially those who are underserved.” Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, Lau has provided dental services in multiple countries, including includes Vietnam, Nicaragua, Guatemala and the U.S. prior to joining RAHC.
