Sean Gannutz, PA-C is a Physician Assistant, providing primary medical care to patients of all ages.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University.
Prior to pursuing a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Mr. Gannutz provided advanced life support in a pre-hospital setting as a paramedic for ten years. It was during that time when he found himself following the outcomes of his more critical patients and felt a great sense of satisfaction in knowing the care he’d provided had an impact on their survival and improved quality of life. The desire to become more involved in the long-term care of patients is what facilitated his pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant.
For the past five years, Mr. Gannutz has provided family medical care, preventing and treating acute and chronic illnesses in rural Missouri.
Having practiced within a community health center in Missouri, Mr. Gunnutz appreciates the patent-centered medical home (PCMH) approach to the delivery of health care and working at RAHC is a win-win because he’s able to continue providing care within a PCMH, as well as live in Virginia where he’s closer to family.
In his free time, Mr. Gannutz enjoys spending time with his family. His three children stay active with a wide variety of activities, which includes hiking and camping as a family.
