Christie London

FNP

Christie London is a Family Nurse Practitioner providing health care at our School-Based Health Centers at Maury River Middle School and Parry McCluer High School.

Christie graduated from Lexington High School before earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the Medical College of Virginia (MCV), now known as Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She is a nationally board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Christie has dedicated her career to public health and serving communities in need. Early in her career she worked at St. Joseph’s Villa in Richmond supporting children in foster care. She moved to Hawaii where she worked as a caseworker supporting pregnant women challenged with substance use. She returned to Virginia to work with the Alexandria Health Department before moving to Sacramento.

Christie worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Planned Parenthood and the Sacramento Native American Health Center, followed by several years as a school nurse. Prior to returning to Lexington, she was a Family Nurse Practitioner at a School-Based Health Center in the Sacramento area for two years.

Christie is very excited to return home, closer to family, and to serve the community where she was raised. She lives in Lexington with her two dogs and a cat. Her son began his studies at Boston University in the fall of 2026. An avid live music enthusiast, she loves catching local and national acts anywhere they’re playing—in Rockbridge County and beyond.
