Raeanna Simcoe

Dr. Raeanna Simcoe, MD, is a physician providing medical care to patients of all ages.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Math from Tulane University, a Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association.

Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Simcoe developed and taught an introduction to engineering courses and physics to high school seniors. Her teaching background gave her an understanding that patient education is central to her role as a health care provider and the coordinator of care.

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Simcoe has a passion for primary care and a focus on prevention. Prior to joining RAHC, she provided care to patients of all ages in a large health center like RAHC in Denver, CO.

Dr. Simcoe is delighted to be in the Rockbridge area and to live closer to family. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters, as well as reading, knitting, and being outdoors.

Availability:
Tuesday – Friday at Rockbridge Area Health Center – Northridge
One Friday per month at RAHC – Kendal Drive
