Emily Lau

Dr. Emily Lau, DDS joins the Rockbridge Area Health Center (RAHC) as a family dentist, providing dental care to patients of all ages. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from George Mason University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry.

Having many oral health problems as a child. Dr. Lau is grateful for the extraordinary care that she received throughout her early years. Because of her childhood dental care experiences, she always wanted to become a dental professional and have the opportunity to provide care to a wide range of patients, especially those who are underserved.

Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, Dr. Lau has provided dental services in multiple countries which includes Vietnam, Nicaragua, Guatemala and the U.S. prior to joining RAHC.

In her free time, Dr. Lau enjoys traveling, photography and hiking throughout the beautiful Rockbridge area.
