Kate Squires

Kate Squires is a Licensed Professional Counselor at RAHC working with adults, adolescents, and families on issues ranging from anxiety, depression, autism, substance use, and behavioral issues in adolescents.

She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stetson University and a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University.

Kate utilizes a holistic approach to working with her clients. She incorporates treatment modalities of Humanistic Counseling, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems Therapy, and solution-focused counseling to meet the unique needs of each client. She enjoys helping clients become effective in their daily lives through acceptance, self-compassion, self-regulation, and other interventions aimed at increasing overall resilience.

A former collegiate soccer player and cross-country runner, Kate spends time running and hiking when away from work. She also enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband.
