Phornphan (Pawnpon) Homiak, PA-C is a Physician Assistant, providing primary medical care to patients ages five (5) years and older. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Stanford University, a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from James Madison University and is a member the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Phornphan has always been interested in medicine because it weds helping people with lifelong learning. And as a physician assistant, she has the opportunity to work with a supervising physician and care for patients as a team.

Prior to joining RAHC, she was providing care since 2004 as a physician assistant in Northern Virginia and in North Carolina. Returning to the Rockbridge area gives her the chance to work at RAHC where, as a community health center, it is recognized that healthcare treats the WHOLE body and the WHOLE being.

In her free time, Phornphan enjoys hiking, reading, knitting and crocheting, and traveling to see friends and family.
